The project was carried out through a consortium of high education, training and establishment of technological transmission. Directed and coordinated by Marinetech South Ltd. Partly financed by the European Commission (DG XXII) as part of Leonardo da Vinci programme. The general aim of the project was to identify the new abilities the shipping companies needed to compete at markets in the future.
