NEST: EUROPEAN PROJECT FOR THE SOCIAL AND LABOR INCLUSION OF THE REFUGEES AND BENEFICIARIES OF INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION

NEST (New Skills to Enhance Integration of Asylum Seekers and Beneficiaries of International Protection) is a EU project that aims to promote the social and labor inclusion of refugees and beneficiaries of international protection in four European countries through the common work of five institutions: FUNDEUN (Spain), FARSI PROSSIMO (Italy), ARGO di Donda Andrea (Italy), DRUSTVO ZA RAZVIJANJE PROSTOVOLJNEGA DELA NOVO MESTO (Slovenia) and PRO IFALL (Sweden). For this, the project will try to enhance, through the development of a training program, the transversal and technical skills in the reception monitors of this human group in such a critical situation.

NEST partners will focus their work mainly on three intellectual products: (1) the creation of guidelines on integration policies and services implemented in these four countries, using qualitative and quantitative analysis; (2) the development of a training methodology to improve the transversal and technical skills of the host monitors and (3) the creation of tools for mobile devices, to directly help the beneficiaries to access the local essential services. The project will implement an innovative multidimensional training based on successful integration case studies and on-the-job experiences gained by partner organizations.
