FUNDEUN will take part in the Kickoff Meeting of the new European Project «SCIENT» which will take place in Nicosia (Cyprus) next 26-27 January.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the entrepreneurial activity by research (PhD) students in the following EU countries: Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Malta. These countries have been suffering from the ongoing economic crisis and at the same time have seen an increasing interest and activity by young people to start their own company, as this seems to be their only viable option.

SCIENT will carry out during two years (2015-17) and it will provide an introduction and hands-on experience in developing new business ventures designed to commercialize research.
